More Mondays with Michelle Obama in the Works

Penguin Young Readers, Random House Children’s Books and PBS Kids have partnered for additional Mondays with Michelle Obama storytime specials.

Two new Mondays with Michelle Obama videos will live-stream back-to-back on May 18, and on May 25, on Facebook and YouTube. The videos will feature the former First Lady of the United States reading aloud Giraffe Problems, The Bear Ate Your Sandwich, Oh, The Places You’ll Go and Can I Be Your Dog? She will be joined by surprise special guests for two of the read-alongs.

Mondays with Michelle Obama began on Monday, April 20, on Facebook and YouTube, in support of Penguin Random House’s Read Together, Be Together literacy initiative and PBS Kids’s “Read-Along” effort. The videos are live-streamed simultaneously at noon on PBS Kids’ Facebook page and YouTube channel, and on Penguin Random House’s Facebook page, and will be available for viewing on-demand on all of those platforms immediately thereafter.
