Mondo TV Spain Rebrands as Mondo TV Iberoamerica

MADRID: Mondo TV Spain has rebranded and changed its name to Mondo TV Iberoamerica, announcing it will shift its focus to the development and co-production of scripted kids’ shows.

According to the company, the rebrand “reflects the successful expansion plans that Mondo TV Spain has pursued over the last few years.” Its first project will be co-producing the series Heidi, Welcome Home, from Argentine writer Marcela Citterio. Also producing is Javier Francia of Alianzas Producciones. In addition to its production slate, Mondo TV Iberoamerica will continue to distribute Mondo TV S.p.A.’s catalogue.

The company’s new identity will be phased in during the next few days across its commercial and corporate communications, as well as on its online presence.
