Mediawan Kids & Family Reveals New Partnerships & Projects

At a press conference in Annecy today, Mediawan Kids & Family shared a number of new projects it has in the works, including a partnership with Good Hero to produce the series Tales of the Miruu (Method Animation).

With TF1, Mediawan Kids & Family is co-developing a series based on the Osamu Tezuka character Astroboy (Method Animation). It is working with France Télévisions to produce the series Tuff Pom (Wildseed Studios and Method Animation) and with the BBC and Sun & Moon to bring the series Duck & Frog to international audiences.

At Mediawan Kids & Family Cinema, the development and production slates include the feature films Twisted, Meow-woof, Spike (Submarine) and Dansker (Submarine).

At Method Animation, there are new originals and IP adaptations: Pango, a 2D new original preschool series based on the game app by Studio Pango, and Masked Cinderella, an adventure series where classic fairy tales meet the modern day.

At Somewhere Animation, there are 2D projects such as the new cartoon/sitcom Chococat & Me.

At Elliott Studio, specialized in live-action shows for youth and family, there’s League of Light, a series in co-production with the British label Wildseed Studios.
