Mattel Signs On for ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks

LOS ANGELES: Bagdasarian Productions has secured Mattel as the master toy licensee for the CG-animated series ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks.

Mattel will develop a full line of toys, including role-play and music items, articulated figures, playsets, R/C vehicles, plush, feature plush and more. The line will roll out nationwide in 2017, as well as in Latin America and Europe. The series, which airs internationally on Nickelodeon, offers a fresh look at the classic adventures of Alvin, Theodore, Simon and the Chipettes.

The line launched with a Toys “R” Us exclusive on October 1. ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks is created, written and directed by Janice Karman. Karman and her husband, Ross Bagdasarian, voice the Chipmunks and are the owners of the franchise, as well as producers of the 1980s TV series and of the four blockbuster movies. PGS Entertainment represents the ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks series around the world. The show was commissioned by M6 and produced by Bagdasarian Productions in collaboration with Technicolor Animation Productions.
