Magic Light Pictures Inks U.K. Softline Deals for The Gruffalo

Magic Light Pictures has expanded the licensing program for its brand The Gruffalo and Friends with new softline deals and renewals in the U.K.

Character World Brands, an existing licensee, has taken new home and bedding rights in the baby and toddler category, following the success of its retail launch “My First” in Boots earlier this year.

Morrisons is set to launch a new clothing range for The Gruffalo and Friends in AW25, enhancing the brand’s retail presence across the grocer category.

Sainsbury’s renewed its DTR license for a further three years.

New clothing ranges will launch in Tesco and ASDA this year.

Aykroyds & Sons/TDP Textiles added toddler daywear and outerwear to their nightwear rights.

Blues Group, which already holds babywear rights, acquired dress-up rights for the brand for its new dress-up division.

Misirli also picked up new socks and hosiery rights.
