m4e Pacts with ODMedia for Digital Distribution of Kids’ Content

UTRECHT: The m4e Group has signed up ODMedia to prep its library of children’s content for digital distribution.

Through the deal, chapters of shows such as Mia and me, Tip the Mouse, Lizzie McGuire and Miffy will be digitized for distribution through ODMedia’s delivery platform to VOD providers and broadcasters worldwide. Many of the episodes will be enhanced to improve sound or picture quality, while pan-scanning and high-quality upscaling will ready older material for HD playout. Additionally, localized audio and subtitles will be checked and matched with the original sources.
