Roberto Genovesi, previously director of Rai Libri, is set to assume leadership of Rai Kids, replacing Luca Milano, who is retiring.
Milano is said to be retiring in April after more than 30 years with the broadcaster. He is currently executive director of Rai Kids, which controls the free-to-air Rai Yoyo and Rai Gulp, as well as the units for production and co-production of animation, kids’ drama and live shows. Rai Kids is one of the main European commissioners and investors in kids’ content.
Previously, Milano spent years as deputy executive director of Rai Fiction, Rai’s department in charge of prime-time drama production.
