MEXICO CITY/BUENOS AIRES/PARIS: Televisa, Pol-ka Producciones and Federation Kids & Family have licensed the live-action teen series Love, Divina to France Télévisions for broadcast on France 4.

Love, Divina is co-produced by Televisa, Pol-ka Producciones and Federation Kids & Family. The 60×45-minute show, which stars Laura Esquivel (Patito Feo), centers on a teenage girl who grew up without a family. It premiered on Televisa’s BLIM in Mexico and LatAm early this year, with debuts on Super! in Italy and all other Televisa platforms to follow. It will also debut on eltrece in Argentina.

Tiphaine de Raguenel, France Télévisions’ executive director and director of youth programming for France 4, remarked: “We are delighted to welcome Love, Divina exclusively on France 4, France Télévisions’ family channel. Love, Divina, and her friends, offer our viewers a positive portrait of a modern, supportive and united family. These values to which France Télévisions aspires contribute to an aspirational story that will appeal [and] resonate with kids and parents alike.”

“Our partnership with France Télévisions is a cornerstone of our pan-European strategy, securing key channels one by one, while filling a needed gap in the market,” added David Michel, the managing director of Federation Kids & Family. “Love, Divina has a unique creative angle in that it is a drama that works for both tweens/teens and parent audiences, which is a hard genre to find right now.”
