Jetpack Hires Former Mattel Exec for Interim Sales Role

Jetpack Distribution has appointed industry vet Marie-Laure Roche to the position of interim head of sales, covering for Gillian Calvert Ridge while she is on maternity leave.

Roche will be based in London and will report directly to Jetpack Distribution CEO Dominic Gardiner. She officially joins the company on September 1 and will be working alongside Gardiner and Ridge.

Roche has held several key roles within the children’s television industry, including managing the content distribution of entertainment properties at Mattel and various roles managing sales across the globe over a five-year stint at CAKE. This included finding homes for properties such as Angry Birds, Total Drama Series and Angelo Rules.

Roche said: “I am very excited to join the Jetpack team. Since its inception I’ve followed the company’s growth path (including its ever-growing catalog) with keen interest. It’s a great opportunity!”

Gardiner added: “Marie-Laure will be a great asset. She has some brilliant experience and contacts and I’m greatly looking forward to working with her as we head towards Cannes this Autumn.”
