Italian-Swiss pop artist and former professional soccer player Boris Dondè-Mancastroppa has developed an art collection to pay homage to the 20th anniversary of Rainbow’s Winx Club brand.

The 36 Winx-inspired paintings use Dondè-Mancastroppa’s technique that incorporates gold dust and diamonds and will be available through a licensing partnership with Rainbow Group. Created in 2004, Winx Club boasts animated series, a Netflix original, live shows and a robust licensing program, as well as a new animated chapter of the saga that is due to release in 2025.

Iginio Straffi, founder and CEO of Rainbow Group, said, “The fine art spirit we find in Boris Dondè-Mancastroppa’s works connects perfectly with the sweeping energy of the Winx, between vibrant colors and infinite possibilities. I love this collection and can’t wait for fans and collectors around the world to admire it.”

“It was fantastic to work with Iginio Straffi’s fairies,” said Dondè-Mancastroppa. “Winx Club is really close to my art, and the energy of each fairy meets perfectly with all the materials I like using, such as crystals, which give a touch of true magic to all my works.”
