Imira Entertainment Co-producing & Distributing New Slapstick Comedy

MADRID: Imira Entertainment is teaming with Italian studio Just for Kids Factory to co-produce the non-dialogue comedy series Dummysaurs.

Imira will also distribute the 104×2-minute slapstick series. The first 13 chapters are currently in production.

“We have big expectations for Dummysaurs,” said Imira CEO Sergi Reitg. “It’s a project which especially targets digital consumption via its short format, the kind of product that’s in a lot of demand as well as being pure non-dialogue comedy for all audiences.”

Dummysaurs is inspired by “a fun and easy concept with happy-go-lucky dinosaurs, made with a colorful design for the characters and background,” said Just for Kids Factory’s Allegra Dami. “A nowadays-stone age, with funny and unexpected gags that play on absurd situations, slapstick comedy and high-quality animation.”
