HITN-TV to Air Kids’ Programming Block

BROOKLYN: U.S. Hispanic network HITN-TV is slated to add a children’s programming block to its lineup, with the new shows debuting this Saturday.

Among the titles featured in the new block are Horacio and the Plasticines, about a boy who befriends four lumps of multicolored clay; Joe & Jack, the story of a carefree 4-year-old and his witty cat; and Fifi and the Flowertots, a celebration of the outdoors. Additional productions will include the yoga-centered Omm Moo, a second season of Telmo & Tula Arts & Crafts and the interactive game show Quiz Time.

The new block will debut August 6 at 10 a.m.

“HITN is adding a number of fun new kids’ shows and airing the second seasons of some familiar titles,” said Florentina Almonte, HITN-TV’s director of programming. “These new voices will make the content we offer young audiences even more varied and exceptional.”
