Gaumont’s Nicolas Atlan Joins TV Kids Summer Festival

Nicolas Atlan, the president of Gaumont U.S., is the latest addition to the TV Kids Summer Festival, which you can register for here.

Atlan, former president of Gaumont Animation and Family, was promoted to president of Gaumont for the U.S. in July 2020. In his keynote, Atlan will touch on trends in animation, nurturing talent and development strategies, among other topics.

Atlan joins the TV Kids Summer Festival roster alongside previously announced speakers Nickelodeon’s Jules Borkent, BBC’s Patricia Hidalgo, Super RTL’s Thorsten Braun, Warner Bros.’ Amy Friedman, Paramount’s Layla Lewis, POP Channels’ Francesca Newington, Sensical’s Bethany Boles, De Agostini Editore’s Brenda Maffuchi, The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder’s Bruce W. Smith, Nelvana’s Pam Westman, ZDF Studios’ Katharina Pietzsch, The Jim Henson Company’s Halle Stanford, Sesame Workshop’s Ed Wells and Kay Wilson Stallings, Jetpack Distribution’s Dominic Gardiner, Serious Kids’ Genevieve Dexter, Cyber Group Studios’ Raphaëlle Mathieu, MIAM! animation’s Hanna Mouchez, Monster Entertainment’s Andrew Fitzpatrick, WildBrain’s Caroline Tyre and Guru Studio’s Jonathan Abraham.

The TV Kids Summer Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children’s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsSummerFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Summer Festival is free. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.
