France in Focus at the TV Kids Summer Festival

The TV Kids Summer Festival, which you can register for here free of charge, will feature a panel discussion on the latest developments in French animation with Superprod’s Clément Calvet, Mediawan’s Julien Borde, Dandelooo’s Emmanuèle Pétry-Sirvin and HARI’s Sophie “Kido” Prigent.

Calvet founded Superprod in 2010 and today serves as president and producer. Borde is president of Mediawan Kids & Family and previously was managing director of Mediawan Animation. Pétry-Sirvin co-founded Dandelooo and serves as producer and head of international. Prigent joined HARI as head of sales in early 2023 from Jetpack Distribution, where she was global head of sales. Together, the executives will discuss France’s subsidies and tax credits, content quotas, animation prowess and more.

Taking place June 6 to 9, the TV Kids Summer Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children’s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsSummerFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Summer Festival is free. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.

The executives join a roster of speakers already announced that includes Disney’s Ayo Davis, M6 Group’s Maud Branly, BBC Studios’ Cecilia Persson, Builder Brothers Dream Factory’s Drew and Jonathan Scott, media cartographer Evan Shapiro, Moonbug’s Nicolas Eglau and Andy Yeatman, Kidoodle.TV’s Brenda Bisner, HappyKids’ David Di Lorenzo, Canela Kids’ Maggie Salas-Amaro and Playground’s Daniel Nordberg.
