FilmRise & Nelvana Pact for Kids’ Content Package

FilmRise has entered into a distribution deal with Nelvana for approximately 800 hours of children’s programming.

Per the deal, FilmRise will offer the package of Nelvana’s children’s programming to SVOD and AVOD platforms across the U.S., U.K., Ireland and Germany. The titles include anime shows Bakugan and Beyblade, as well as such iconic children’s animated series as Babar, Braceface, Class of the Titans, Rupert, Tales from the Cryptkeeper, Donkey Kong Country, Rescue Heroes and Franklin, among others.

FilmRise plans to offer Nelvana’s range of content to AVOD platforms such as IMDb TV, Tubi and Pluto in the U.S.; and in Germany and the U.K. on Rakuten, Joyn and TV NOW.
