Family Channel Picks Up More Lockdown, Just Add Magic

Sinking Ship Entertainment has secured deals to bring the new seasons of YouTube Originals’ Lockdown and Amazon Prime’s Just Add Magic: Mystery City to WildBrain Television’s Family Channel in Canada.

“At Family Channel, we know just how important it is to provide kids and families with new and exciting, high-quality content, especially during these challenging times,” said Katie Wilson, VP of channels and curation at WildBrain. “We’re excited to share fantastic shows such as Lockdown and Just Add Magic: Mystery City as part of our Family Channel lineup, offering entertainment that the whole family can look forward to watching together.”

Lockdown: Who Is Question Mark Face? features six new episodes that follow days 60-120 of the COVID-19 Lockdown, with Nira, Emi, Sam, Chris, Aiden and Luke finding themselves in another mystery. Just Add Magic: Mystery City, meanwhile, follows the magic cookbook to Bay City as it moves to three new protectors—step-siblings Zoe and Leo, and their upstairs neighbor Ish.

New episodes of Lockdown are set to roll out starting on November 28, while new episodes of Just Add Magic: Mystery City are set to launch on January 4.
