Execs to Discuss Creative & Development Strategies at TV Kids Festival

Nelvana’s Athena Georgaklis, Cyber Group Studios’ Ira Singerman, Sesame Workshop’s Kay Wilson Stallings and Boat Rocker Studios’ Shaleen Sangha will share their guiding principles when seeking and finding ideas for shows during a panel session at the TV Kids Festival, which you can register for here free of charge.

Georgaklis serves as head of development at Nelvana. Singerman is VP of development for Cyber Group Studios’ U.S. operations. Wilson Stallings serves as Sesame Workshop’s executive VP of creative and production. Sangha is VP of content for kids and family at Boat Rocker Studios.

These executives join the lineup of TV Kids Festival speakers previously announced: 9 Story Media Group’s Vince Commisso; WildBrain’s Eric Ellenbogen; Banijay Kids & Family’s Benoît Di Sabatino; Doc McStuffins’ Chris Nee; Star Trek: Prodigy’s Kevin and Dan Hageman; Gabby’s Dollhouse’s Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey; Emma Memma’s Emma Watkins; and First Day’s Julie Kalceff and Kirsty Stark. Taking place from February 7 to 10, the TV Kids Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the major trends in the children’s programming business. It will be streamed live and available on-demand on TVKidsFestival.com. Unlike other events requiring hefty registration fees, attendance to the TV Kids Festival is free. The inaugural festival attracted more than 1,700 participants.
