The Entertainment One (eOne) animated preschool property Ricky Zoom is set to make its debut in the U.S. on Nickelodeon this fall.
The partnership with Nickelodeon joins a raft of other broadcast deals eOne has inked for the series. Ricky Zoom is also slated to bow on Super RTL in Germany, Clan TV in Spain, Gulli in France, RAI in Italy, Youku in China and Discovery Kids in Latin America, with further deals in the pipeline. The first season will premiere on Nickelodeon on September 9.
As Ricky Zoom’s broadcast launch nears, eOne is readying the release of the brand’s first official app. The app, Ricky Zoom: Welcome to Wheelford, will roll out in line with broadcast dates and will feature mini-games and interactive playgrounds.
