The Entertainment One (eOne) animated preschool property Ricky Zoom is set to make its debut in the U.S. on Nickelodeon this fall.

The partnership with Nickelodeon joins a raft of other broadcast deals eOne has inked for the series. Ricky Zoom is also slated to bow on Super RTL in Germany, Clan TV in Spain, Gulli in France, RAI in Italy, Youku in China and Discovery Kids in Latin America, with further deals in the pipeline. The first season will premiere on Nickelodeon on September 9.

As Ricky Zoom’s broadcast launch nears, eOne is readying the release of the brand’s first official app. The app, Ricky Zoom: Welcome to Wheelford, will roll out in line with broadcast dates and will feature mini-games and interactive playgrounds.

Monica Candiani, eOne’s executive VP of international content sales for Family & Brands, said: “The U.S. will play a key role in the rollout of Ricky Zoom around the world. Securing a broadcaster of this caliber in this crucial market is a reflection of the high-quality animation and storytelling that people have come to expect from an eOne show and we’re delighted to strengthen our long-standing relationship with Nickelodeon.”
