DreamWorks Animation Reveals Kipo & the Age of Wonderbeasts for Netflix

DreamWorks Animation has lined up a new series under its deal with Netflix, Kipo & the Age of Wonderbeasts.

Produced and created by Radford Sechrist (How to Train Your Dragon 2), Kipo & the Age of Wonderbeasts sees the titular young girl thrust into an adventure on the surface of a fantastical post-apocalyptic Earth, where she joins a group of survivors on a journey through a wonderland in which the adorable creatures are murderous. The show is expected to arrive on Netflix in 2020.

Netflix also revealed the official title and debuted a first look for its brand-new Netflix original series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers. In Fast & Furious: Spy Racers, Tony Toretto follows his cousin Dom when he and his friends are recruited by a government agency to infiltrate an elite racing league that’s a front for a crime organization intent on world domination. The series, with Tim Hedrick and Bret Haaland as executive producers and showrunners and Vin Diesel and Chris Morgan executive producing as well, is slated to debut on Netflix around the world later this year.

DreamWorks Animation presented the aforementioned titles at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, where it also gave updates on other shows in its catalog, including She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny, Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous.
