Disney XD Slates Debut of Milo Murphy’s Law

BURBANK: Disney XD has set October 3 for the premiere of the animated comedy series Milo Murphy’s Law from the creators of Phineas and Ferb, with Al Yankovic (Weird Al) voicing the lead role.

The animated comedy series will premiere on Disney XD on Monday, October 3, at 8 p.m. It tells the story of Milo Murphy, the great-great-great-great-grandson of the Murphy’s Law namesake. Milo is the personification of Murphy’s Law, where anything that can go wrong actually will. Milo Murphy’s Law was created and executive produced by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, the team behind Phineas and Ferb.

In addition to Yankovic, the series stars Sabrina Carpenter (Girl Meets World) and MeKai Curtis as Milo’s best friends. Yankovic also performs the theme song, as well as other songs throughout the series.

A full-length preview of the first episode will be available on the Disney XD app, the Disney XD YouTube channel and Disney XD VOD platforms starting September 26. Milo Murphy’s Law is a production of Disney Television Animation.
