Disney Lines Up Descendants Special Under the Sea

Late next month, Disney Channel is due to debut Under the Sea: A Descendants Story, a short-form live-action special starring Dove Cameron and China Anne McClain.

Under the Sea: A Descendants Story features an epic underwater battle between archnemeses Mal and Uma. The special is scheduled to make its linear premiere on Friday, September 28. It will also become available on the DisneyNOW app and Disney Channel VOD.

Descendants 3, the next installment of the hit franchise, will debut in summer 2019. The first two movies were released in 2015 and 2017, respectively.
