APC Kids has signed a raft of deals for the animated preschool series DinoCity, including Piwi+ (France) and MBC (MENA) taking pay-TV rights.

ERT (Greece) and Ketnet (Flemish Belgium) secured free-TV rights for the series. APC Kids also licensed the exclusive free-TV rights and non-exclusive SVOD rights to Menart in the Balkans (Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia).

These new partners join previous sales, which include SPTN’s Tiny Pop (U.K., Ireland) picking up exclusive TV rights, Italy’s DeA Kids taking exclusive pay-TV rights, pubcaster YLE securing TV rights for Finland, and Canal+ in Poland licensing the show for Minimini+.

DinoCity is produced by Riki Group in partnership with Animax Production animation studio.

Lionel Marty, managing director of APC Kids, said: “With DinoCity starting to roll out across Europe and already receiving a positive audience response, we’re excited to be continuing the show’s international journey and welcoming new partners on board. The show is filled with lovable characters, imagination and fun so we’re sure it will capture the imagination of young audiences all around the world.”

Alexandra Artemyeva, DinoCity producer, added: “An international team of experts in children’s animation works every day to come up with more and more situations and jokes to surprise and entertain young viewers. We are glad that the project we are fully committed to and the characters who already became members of our family are conquering new territories and meet the love of children around the world.”
