TORONTO: DHX Television has expanded its multiplatform offering to French-speaking viewers through the launch of the Télémagino app.

The Télémagino app is currently available and offers more than 500 episodes of 20 series to preschoolers, who can watch on mobile devices and tablets. The first two episodes of the animated series Kate & Mim-Mim are currently available on the app for on-demand viewing, ahead of the show’s network debut in January. The Télémagino app will be continually updated with the network’s hit titles.

In addition to Kate & Mim-Mim, the app is launching with a number of hit shows in French, including Télétubbies, Justin rêve, Yo Gabba Gabba!, Messy et le monde d’OKIDO, Fraisinette, Thomas et ses amis, Félibert, le chaventurier and more. The app is available to subscribers at no additional charge. Key features include the ability to download episodes for offline viewing and a 24/7 live stream of the channel.

“We’ve been thrilled with the response to The Family Channel app and, now with the offering extended to Télémagino, we look forward to sharing this experience with our subscribers who wish to view French preschool programs,” said Joe Tedesco, the general manager and senior VP of DHX Television. “We’re continuously looking for new ways to offer our viewers greater choice and control over their entertainment experience, and the Télémagino app provides the flexibility to parents and kids to enjoy their favorite programming in whichever way they choose.”

DHX Television’s viewing apps are developed in association with media app solutions company Digiflare. The Télémagino app is available for iOS and Android phones and tablets.
