529 College Savings Plans Sponsoring Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood

Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, an animated preschool series from Fred Rogers Productions (FRP), has secured a sponsorship deal with 529 College Savings Plans.

The 18-month partnership will feature a series of 15-second Bozell-produced recognition spots. The spots will be shown before and after each episode of Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood on PBS Kids, PBS member stations nationwide and those available to stream on PBSKids.org.

FRP’s sponsorship deal will also include banners and clickable 529 College Savings Plans logos that lead to the organization’s website for the Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood page on the PBS Parents website and PBS Kids video players. FRP also is providing 529 College Savings Plans with downloadable activity/information sheets featuring Daniel Tiger and other characters from the series.

529 College Savings Plans, which also will receive recognition on the Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood website, developed the spots to inform families about the 529 plan’s tax advantages and the importance of saving for children’s higher education.

Paul Siefken, president and CEO of Fred Rogers Productions, said: “Our new partnership with 529 College Savings Plans is a natural fit for Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, which focuses on learning, caring for and sharing with others. We’re very excited to be working with 529 College Savings Plans and assisting families in getting the information they need to support their children’s education and their future.”
