Cyber Group’s Gigantosaurus Honored by Fans in China

CCTV Children’s Channel together with ten animation companies hosted the virtual live show Cartoon Carnival of Summer Vacation to celebrate animation in China, including the Cyber Group Studios series Gigantosaurus.

Gigantosaurus, exclusively distributed in China by Pacific Media Group, was among 12 animated series presented during the show. It took first place in the My Favorite Cartoon category, with CCTV recognizing the achievement by rebroadcasting Gigantosaurus on its official app.

Gigantosaurus premiered in China on CCTV in December 2019 and also has an exclusive video-on-demand agreement with the streaming platform Youku. Since its premiere, the series has been rebroadcast twice on CCTV and has featured on CCTV’s annual New Year’s television special. It has also ranked at the top of several of Youku’s animation lists.
