Cyber Group Inks New Deals for Gigantosaurus & More

Cyber Group Studios has secured a raft of deals with international broadcasters and platforms for a number of series in its catalog.

Gigantosaurus, an adventure-comedy series produced by Cyber Group Studios, is now available on Netflix and Disney +, while currently airing its first season throughout 2020 on international networks such as Disney Junior worldwide, Rai in Italy, CCTV in China, Tiny Pop in the U.K., Super RTL in Germany, SRC in Canada, SVT in Sweden and others. As the first season continues its international expansion, it has been acquired by Channel 5 in Singapore, DR TV in Denmark, Kan in Israel, Knowledge Network for English-speaking Canada, PTS in Taiwan, RTVE in Spain, RTS in Switzerland, TV Azteca in Mexico, TVP in Poland, SVT in Sweden and Star Channel in Greece.

50/50 Heroes, a brand-new series produced by Cyber Group Studios and commissioned by pubcaster France Télévisions, is currently in production and has been pre-acquired by The Walt Disney Company for Germany and Eastern Europe.

Further, in North America, HITN/EDYE (U.S.) acquired Leo the Wildlife Ranger and Mia, DHX TV (Canada English) acquired Sadie Sparks and Télé-Québec acquired Droners. In Latin America, EBC TV Brazil acquired The Pirates Next Door, Mirette Investigates and Zou season two; Canal Once (Mexico) picked up Mirette Investigates and The Pirates Next Door; and Senal Colombia renewed another season of Zou. In Europe, TVP (Poland), along with Gigantosaurus season one, picked up Tom Sawyer and Zorro: The Chronicles. TG4 (Ireland) acquired Taffy season one and Sadie Sparks, and Discovery Italy acquired Ernest and Rebecca.

In Asia, Channel 5 (Singapore), in addition to Gigantosaurus season one, Mediacorp group acquired Zou season three, Mini Ninjas season two and Mirette Investigates for the channel. True Visions (Thailand) picked up Zak Jinks and Leo the Wildlife Ranger. In the Middle East, several package deals were closed with broadcasters in the United Arab Emirates. Kan (Israel) has acquired Sadie Sparks in addition to Gigantosaurus.
