Cartoon Network Greenlights Original Comedy The Fungies!

Cartoon Network Studios, as it continues to grow its global comedy slate, has greenlit the brand-new original series The Fungies! and picked up the originals Craig of the Creek and Victor and Valentino for new seasons.

Developed as part of Cartoon Network Studios’ international Artists Program, The Fungies! is a prehistoric comedy that will explore Fungietown through the quests of a young mushroom inhabitant named Seth, who has a passion for science and discovery. The series from Stephen Neary is slated to premiere next year.

Craig of the Creek’s third season will see Craig’s quest to map the Creek lead him farther into unexplored territory. Joined by his two best friends, Kelsey and JP, he’ll meet new Creek Kids, uncover more clues to the Creek’s past and encounter more dangers from the Other Side of the Creek. The second season of Victor and Valentino promises more myths, mysteries and mayhem, with The Lonely Haunts Club getting back together as rivals Charlene and Pineapple join Victor and Valentino to hunt for ghosts around Monte Macabre, helping some of them to cross over to the Underworld.
