Cartoon Network Adds Two New Adventure Comedies to Slate

The new original adventure comedies Mao Mao, Heroes of Pure Heart and Tig N’ Seek are set to join Cartoon Network’s programming lineup.

From Parker Simmons, Mao Mao, Heroes of Pure Heart follows a crime-fighting samurai cat and his faithful sidekicks. Eight new episodes of the series will become available on Friday, June 28 on the CN app and on demand ahead of its premiere on Monday, July 1 on Cartoon Network. New episodes of Mao Mao, Heroes of Pure Heart, produced by Cartoon Network Studios and Titmouse, will bow on Mondays through summer.

Tig N’ Seek, created by Myke Chilian, is a light-hearted mystery show about a young sleuth and his feline partner and their efforts to find the lost items of Wee Gee City. The series is expected to premiere sometime in 2020.

In other programming news, Cartoon Network has renewed Summer Camp Island from Julia Pott for a sophomore season, while George Gendi’s buddy comedy Apple & Onion is getting a full season pickup.
