Virgin Media Taps BT Alum for Kids’ Post

HAMPSHIRE: Sarah Aspinall, formerly of Azoomee and BT, has become the new kids’ and music editor at Liberty Global’s Virgin Media.

Prior to her recent appointment at Virgin Media, Aspinall was the creative director and head of content at Azoomee, a safe children’s app featuring television shows, games and audiobooks. Before that, she served as head of kids’ TV and music at telecommunications company BT for more than four years.

Earlier in her career, Aspinall was the programming manager for lifestyle and entertainment channels in the U.K. and Western Europe at Discovery Networks, where she also briefly served as an acquisitions exec for EMEA. In addition, she spent more than a decade as programming and presentation manager for EMEA at Turner Broadcasting System Europe.
