Another Season of The Hood for Nick Israel

Nickelodeon in Israel has ordered a third installment of the daily live-action teen drama The Hood from Ananey Communications’ Nutz Productions.

The Hood centers on a motherless family trying to make ends meet while living in low-income housing in the middle of one of the country’s richest districts. The show recently finished airing its sophomore season on HOT in Israel. Its first installment was broadcast on Nickelodeon Israel two years ago.

The Hood was also snapped up by RTP in Portugal, where the original version debuted with subtitles late last year. The series was created by Israeli writer Giora Chamizer, who is also the creator and showrunner of The Greenhouse.
