A second season of Fred Rogers Productions’ Alma’s Way is slated to premiere on PBS KIDS on September 18 with a week of new episodes.

The season will begin with a special half-hour episode featuring Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Inspired by Alma meeting Justice Sotomayor, the episode first sees Alma try to help her friends determine what is fair and then sees the Justice encourage her to be an umpire for a kickball game.

Series creator Sonia Manzano, known for her role as Maria on Sesame Street, wrote the episode and voices Granny Isa, Alma’s grandmother.

Other new episodes this season will see Alma hesitant to break her friend’s piñata, give away a toy and wonder if she made a mistake, open a mofongo truck with Eddie and more.
