AGC Television to Adapt R.V. Bowman Book Series

AGC Television is set to adapt R.V. Bowman’s Hook’s Daughter: The Pirate Princess Chronicles into a live-action series.

The fantasy adventure YA series will follow a 16-year-old girl who breaks out of her boarding school to find her sea captain father. She soon stumbles upon a magical island called Neverland.

Thor Freudenthal (Words on A Bathroom Wall, Carnival Row) is attached to direct and Lucy Brown (Bride or Groom) is adapting the trilogy.

AGC Television’s Lourdes Diaz, chief creative officer; and Aghi Koh, YA division head; and CEO Stuart Ford will executive produce.
