ABC ME, which rebranded from ABC3, offers short- and long-form Australian and international programming that reflects and celebrates the lives of young Aussies. Among the titles on offer are News to Me, a pop-culture review program; Prisoner Zero, a sci-fi animated show; Winston Steinburger & Sir Dudley Ding Dong, an animated comedy; and This Is Me, a short-form docuseries. Key features of the app include the ability to make a playlist, discover new titles, create a personalized profile and filter content with parental controls.

Rebecca Heap, the head of audience and digital for ABC Television, stated: “This year, we’ve seen ABC3 content on iview average 6 million program plays per month, demonstrating how quickly the habits of our young audience are changing and highlighting how important it is that we evolve our service and content to meet their needs. ABC ME offers them this freedom within a safe environment that parents can trust. We’re thrilled to launch ABC ME, jam-packed with exciting content that puts kids at the heart of the audience experience.”
