ABC Lines Up New Frozen Holiday Special

BURBANK: ABC has revealed details for an all-new original Frozen holiday special from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

The production will see the return of such characters as Olaf, Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Sven, and original voice cast members Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad. It is being directed by Emmy winners Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton (Prep & Landing) and produced by Oscar winner Roy Conli (Big Hero 6).

The currently untitled Frozen special is slated to air on ABC Television Network during the 2017 holiday season. It is based on the hit animated Disney film from 2013 about the newly crowned Queen Elsa and her sister, Anna.
