ABC Kids Lines Up Bluey Wackadoo Weekend Programming

Bluey Wackadoo Weekend, a programming event that will feature Bluey episodes, minisodes and special extras, will broadcast on October 4 and 5 on ABC Kids and ABC iview.

The lineup includes the Australian premieres of the new short-form series Bluey Tunes, Bluey Cookalongs and Bluey Fancy Restaurant. Bluey Minisodes, Bluey Puppets and Bluey Book Reads will be available for the first time on ABC iview. Also, the theatrical adaptation Bluey’s Big Play will air on Saturday evening, while The Sign will close out the weekend on Sunday.

Bluey Tunes features ten short episodes that blend stop motion, animation and graphics to create a musical experience for families and kids to sing and dance along to. Bluey Cookalongs brings real families together to re-create recipes inspired by moments from Bluey. In Bluey Fancy Restaurant, Australian kids re-create Bluey and Bingo’s Fancy Restaurant at their own homes.

The craft series Bluey Puppets gives viewers the chance to follow the creation of characters from Bluey. Each episode includes a pattern downloadable from the ABC Kids website.

Bluey Book Reads features famous faces reading some of the most popular Bluey story books.

Bluey Tunes, Bluey Puppets, Bluey Cookalongs and Bluey Fancy Restaurant are co-produced by BBC Studios Digital Brands, BBC Studios Kids & Family and ABC.
