Prime Video Orders The Chosen Adventures to Series

Prime Video has ordered The Chosen Adventures, a biblical animated show from 5&2 Studios, to series.

Written and executive produced by Ryan Swanson, who also serves as showrunner, the 14-part series follows 9-year-old Abby and her best friend Joshua as they navigate life in the ancient city of Capernaum. They encounter a wise craftsman and teacher, Jesus of Nazareth, who helps them change the way they see the world.

The voice cast includes Paul Walter Hauser, Yvonne Orji, Romy Fay, Jude Zarzaur, Danny Nucci and Zehra Fazal. Other recurring and guest cast members include Jonathan Roumie, Jordin Sparks, Paras Patel, Elizabeth Tabish, Noah James, Joey Vahedi, George H. Xanthis, Yasmine Al-Bustami, Brandon Potter, Banks Pierce and Julian Grant.

Dallas Jenkins is executive producing under his 5&2 Studios banner. Chris Juen, Chad Gundersen, Keith Alcorn, Kellen Erskine and Derral Eves also serve as executive producers, alongside producer Erin Elizabeth Gardner and co-producer Myesha Gosselin.

Amazon MGM Studios is co-producing with 5&2 Studios. The series will premiere on Prime Video in the U.S. and internationally in the United Kingdom, Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and sub-Saharan Africa.
