Dandelooo Cinéma Presells Hola Frida!

Dandelooo’s newly launched theatrical division, Dandelooo Cinéma, has presold the feature film Hola Frida! in Mexico, Spain and Greece.

The 80-minute animated film, telling the fictional childhood story of artist Frida Kahlo, is produced by France’s Haut et Court Distribution and Canada’s Tobo Media and Du Coup Studio Production. It has now been presold to Mexico’s Canal Once, Spain’s Pack Màgic and Greece’s Rosebud21.

The worldwide premiere of Hola Frida! is set to take place on October 25 during the Morelia International Film Festival in Mexico at Cineteca Nacional and at Frida Kahlo’s official museum, La Casa Azul. Following that, it will be released in France on February 12, 2025, by Haut et Court Distribution; in Canada in spring 2025, by Maison 4:3; and in Spain in March 2025 by Pack Màgic.
