FableVision Studios has rebranded its TV and film group as Moonladder and tapped Guru Studio alum Rachel Reade Marcus as VP of development.

Marcus, formerly VP of creative development at Guru and co-creator of Pikwik Pack, will seek out and develop new business opportunities for Moonladder, with an additional focus on financing and distribution.

Marcus will collaborate with Tone Thyne, who is assuming the newly created title of VP of Moonladder. She will also seek out business development opportunities across all areas of FableVision, including gaming/interactive and audio content.

Previously, Marcus had been working at Guru Studio since 2015. In addition to co-creating Pikwik Park, she served as executive producer on Big Blue. She will continue to consult for Guru on selected projects.

At FableVision, both Marcus and Thyne will report to Gary Goldberger, president and co-founder.

“As our content development portfolio has grown, we’ve recognized the need for branding that captures imaginations, reflects our singular commitment to storytelling and is infused with a bit of magic,” Goldberger said. “Under Tone’s creative direction, Moonladder is destined to become synonymous with the finest in original broadcast content. The addition of Rachel to our team is essential to this strategy. We have long been inspired from afar by her collaborative, artist driven vision for creating, developing and producing engaging, innovative content. We are thrilled that she is now a part of FableVision.”
