Sinking Ship Entertainment’s selections in the TV Kids Screenings Festival are intended to meet the needs of various broadcasters and platforms across demos, featuring a mix of live action and animation and targeting different demos, including preschoolers with Alma’s Way.

“Sinking Ship is proud to be showcasing an exceptional collection of new series and seasons,” says Kate Sanagan, head of sales and distribution. “Our offerings include the new PBS KIDS series Alma’s Way and BBC tween mystery series The Demon Headmaster, as well as the newest seasons of Odd Squad, Endlings, Lockdown and My Home, My Life!

The preschool series Alma’s Way follows the city adventures of a proud Bronx-born, Puerto Rican girl. The Demon Headmaster is at the opposite end of the spectrum, appealing to kids aged 8 to 12. Lockdown, a live-action series following a group of friends living in a big city affected by Covid-19, also targets the tween set, as does Endlings, a live-action/CGI sci-fi series.

For kids 6 to 9, meanwhile, there’s My Home, My Life!, a docuseries in which children invite the audience into their lives to see their homes, families, customs and traditions. Odd Squad, for kids 4 to 8, is a math comedy about a high-tech organization run by kids that investigates anything strange, weird and especially odd.
