BBC Worldwide has signed a multiyear licensing agreement with Amazon Prime Video that sees a number of CBeebies and CBBC kids’ series becoming available on the SVOD service in the U.K. and Ireland.

The deal, which marks BBC Worldwide’s first children’s package with Amazon Prime Video in the territory, comprises more than 520 episodes of programming. Titles include CBeebies’ Hey Duggee, Go Jetters, Sarah & Duck, Charlie & Lola and Gigglebiz, as well as CBBC’s The Story of Tracy Beaker and Horrible Histories. Launch dates will roll out throughout the year.

Currently available are the first installments of Hey Duggee, Sarah & Duck and The Story of Tracy Beaker, as well as seasons two through four of Horrible Histories.

Jonathan Newman, the sales and business development director at BBC Worldwide, commented: “The deal reflects the growing investment that leading streaming services like Amazon Prime Video are making to offer world-class, high-quality children’s programming to their subscribers.”
