Mondo TV in Co-Pro Deal with Henan York Animation

ROME: Mondo TV has signed an agreement with China’s Henan York Animation for the production of three new animated series to be completed by November 2020.

The global budget for the transaction will be $24 million, which Mondo TV will pay during the production. The first 3D project will be based on a new property that is currently in development, aimed at preschoolers and tentatively titled The Rowly Powlys. Production is slated to begin next month.

This deal is part of Mondo TV’s strategy to expand in the Chinese market. Henan York Animation is already a partner on the project connected with the animated television show Invention Story.
