Disney EMEA to Debut Counterfeit Cat

BRISTOL: Disney EMEA has set a May 12 premiere for the new Disney XD animated comedy Counterfeit Cat, a co-production between Tricon Kids & Family and Wildseed Studios.

The series will follow the comic adventures of a small blue alien in a purple cat costume who befriends Max, a real cat, after crashing his spaceship. Counterfeit Cat stars English comedian Marc Wootton and British–Iranian actor and comedian Kayvan Novak. Miles Bullough and Jesse Cleverly executive produce for Wildseed Studios, with Andrea Gorfolova and Frank Saperstein executive producing for Tricon.
