2022 Cartoon Tributes Nominees Revealed

The nominees for this year’s Cartoon Tributes awards, celebrating outstanding players of European animation, have been unveiled, with finalists representing eight countries.

The 2022 nominees hail from Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia and Spain. The awards—for broadcaster, investor/distributor and producer of the year—will be presented on the last day of Cartoon Forum on September 22.

The nominees for broadcaster of the year are GLITCH (The Netherlands), KiKA (Germany), Radio and Television of Slovakia—RTVS (Slovakia) and TF1 Unité Jeunesse (France).

For the investor/distributor of the year award, contenders are DR Sales (Denmark), GoldBee (Spain), KidsMe (Italy) and Nathan Univers Jeunesse (France).

Letko (Poland), Normaal (France), Peekaboo Animation (Spain) and Watch Next Media (France) are up for the producer of the year award.
