Banijay Rights has inked a deal in Ukraine for a new adaptation of the Darren Star-created series Younger.

Noviy (Novy Channel) commissioned Art Forms Productions to produce a 24-episode season to premiere early next year. This follows recent adaptations of Younger in China and South Korea.

Claire Jago, executive VP of sales and acquisitions at Banijay Rights, said: “Throughout its successful run in the U.S., Younger has built up a strong audience base with stunning characters and universal themes. We’re in no doubt this local adaptation will resonate strongly with viewers in Ukraine.”

Produced by TV Land, Younger centers on a woman who lies about her age at her job in the highly competitive world of publishing. Banijay Rights distributes the series outside of the U.S. The show has sold across 192 countries.
