TV Asahi & Youngest Media Introduce Celebrity Fight Club

TV Asahi and Youngest Media Group have collaborated on the physical game-show format Celebrity Fight Club.

The format is based on TV Asahi’s Challengers on Fire, which ran for five years and over 190 episodes and was top-rated in its time slot. The Youngest Media Group team in Los Angeles has reimagined the series.

The new format plays on pop culture, with celebrity “rivals” going head-to-head in a competition driven by their social media followers. In each episode, two star players bring their biggest supporters to the studio to participate in a physical stunt show to see, once and for all, which celebrity has the “best” fans.

The game show will be shopped in the U.S. and worldwide.
