Spanish Treatment for Armoza’s How to Be

TEL AVIV: Mediaset España’s Cuatro has commissioned a local version of How to Be, a celebrity interview show from the Armoza Formats catalogue.

How to Be looks on as celebrities and the host switch places, allowing the celebrity to ask personal questions that they would not want to answer in a regular interview format. The show was developed by Artza Productions in collaboration with Armoza Formats. The Spanish version will be locally titled Feis tu Feis (Face to Face). It will be produced by 100 Balas and hosted by Spanish actor/comedian Joaquín Reyes.

Mariano Blanco, the program manager of Cuatro, commented: “Not only does How to Be allow us to go further than conventional interview formats, but more than that it gives us the chance to really know each guest star, diving into his life in a way that, in other circumstances, not even they would consider. We are thrilled that Joaquín Reyes is joining as host—he’s one of the best comedians in our country, perfect for a show that requires the art of the disguise and transformation.”

Avi Armoza, the CEO of Armoza Formats, added: “We’re thrilled to be working with Cuatro and 100 Balas in launching this unique celebrity interview format in Spain. How to Be brings back authenticity to celebrity interviews by delving into each interviewee’s life in a more meaningful way and, in the finale, by using role reversal to bring out their truest and most unaffected responses.”

A third season of How to Be has been commissioned in Germany following two successful seasons on ZDF and ZDFneo. The new season of the German version is slated for broadcast this summer, while Norway’s NRK is due to debut their local treatment next month. The factual-entertainment format also airs in Sweden, among other countries.
