Spanish Deal for Talpa’s Wishing Tree

HILVERSUM: Spanish pubcaster RTVE has signed on for its own version of Talpa Global’s The Wishing Tree format.

Since its Dutch launch the format has rolled out to almost ten markets, including its first Latin American territory, Brazil. In it, kids make wishes for other people in their lives and hang their requests on a “Wishing Tree.”

“The pure and moving nature of The Wishing Tree has global appeal,” said Maarten Meijs, the managing director of Talpa Global. “We’re thrilled to be working together with RTVE on such an inspiring show and believe the format has found a great home in Spain.”
