Endemol Shine Poland is producing local versions of the variety show Boomerissima and endurance-reality format SAS: Who Dares Wins.

Originally created by Minnow Films for Channel 4, SAS: Who Dares Wins has been commissioned for a first season in Poland. Known locally as Siły Specjalne Polska, the Polsat version marks the tenth iteration of the format.

SAS: Who Dares Wins sees participants undertake a version of the special forces selection process to discover if they have what is required. The Polish version will follow the journey of 18 recruits, under the leadership of four former members of elite units, Wojciech “Zachar” Zacharków (former officer, AGAT Military Unit), Marek “Włóczykij” Stan (former operator, GROM Military Unit), Piotr “Gniady” Hajkowski (former operator, Formoza Military Unit) and Piotr “Soyers” Soyka (former operator, Commandos Military Unit).

Boomerissima, tilted Cudowne lata in Poland, is an entertainment game show pitting generations against each other to prove their superiority. Each episode sees celebrities from different eras take each other on, as they highlight TV shows, movies, music, famous names, adverts and more, to refute stereotypes and determine whether things were better in the past or the present.

Endemol Shine Poland has begun filming Cudowne lata, which will air on TVP this September. Presenter, actor and singer Barbara Kurdej-Szatan will host.
