Old People’s Home for Teenagers, a spin-off of Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds, is slated to premiere later this month on ABC TV and ABC iview.

Narrated by Annabel Crabb, Old People’s Home for Teenagers tests if the power of an intergenerational program can transform the lives of teenage Australians. It will make its world premiere on August 30.

Over five weeks, Old People’s Home for Teenagers will see if spending time with older adults gives teens resilience and confidence and creates a rite of passage into adulthood. It will also see if they change their views on the older generation, helping to dispel ageism throughout Australia, and if the teenagers can bring back a sense of purpose to the lives of the older people and improve their overall mental and physical health.

Seasons one and two of Old People’s Home for 4 Year Olds can be streamed on ABC iview.
