Netflix has added to its lineup the dating series Down for Love, which follows ten people living with Down syndrome on a quest to find their perfect match.

TVF International licensed the show from disability-championing production outfit Attitude Pictures to the streamer globally, outside of New Zealand. Originally produced for TVNZ, the format sees its subjects embark on a series of dates—for some, their first ever—and gather advice from family, friends, experts and other couples along the way.

Poppy McAlister, head of TVF International, said: “Down for Love is a one-of-a-kind series which celebrates love and the bravery of all those bold enough to go looking for it. There is no production company better equipped to tell these stories than Attitude, the global leader in disability-first programming, which TVF has been delighted to work with and champion diversity alongside for over 15 years. We are thrilled to bring Down for Love to the global stage with Netflix and hope the world falls in love with this series and its stars, just as we have!”
